Onstage Wānaka is an inclusive space for all-comers from Wānaka and the surrounding community to create, perform and participate in theatre making.

Introducing Onstage Wānaka, a new home for theatre in Wānaka, Aotearoa New Zealand.

Onstage Wānaka is a newly established community theatre society dedicated to nurturing and celebrating local theatrical talent. Our mission is simple: to create meaningful opportunities for people of all experience levels to participate in live performance, while bringing high-quality, engaging productions to our Upper Clutha audiences.

We believe community theatre should be welcoming, inclusive, and boldly creative. Whether you’re stepping onto the stage for the first time, returning to the spotlight, or supporting from behind the scenes, there is a place for you at Onstage Wānaka.

The society is proudly led by President Andrea Beryl, Secretary Lisa Clough, and Treasurer Geoff Hatten, supported by committee members Janine Weatherly, James Vaughan, Natasha Key Senior, Sarah Hambrook and Jennie Lyall.

We’re just getting started and we’re excited to build a vibrant, collaborative theatre community in the heart of Wānaka.

Come be part of the story.
